INTEGREL E-POWER 9 - USB SERIAL PORT DRIVER
  Installation Guide for Windows
============================================================

This driver allows your Windows PC to communicate with the
Integrel E-Power 9 OEG Controller via USB.

  REQUIREMENTS
  ------------
  - Windows 7 or later (Windows 10/11 recommended)
  - A USB port on your PC
  - The Integrel E-Power 9 OEG Controller

  INSTALLATION STEPS
  ------------------

  1. CONNECT THE DEVICE
Plug the Integrel E-Power 9 OEG Controller into your
PC using a USB cable. Windows may try to find a driver
automatically -- if it succeeds, you're done. If not,
     continue with the steps below.

  2. OPEN DEVICE MANAGER
     - Right-click the Start button (bottom-left of screen)
     - Select "Device Manager" from the menu
(Or press the Windows key + X, then press M)

  3. FIND THE UNRECOGNISED DEVICE
Look for a device with a yellow warning triangle. It
will appear under "Other devices" or "Ports (COM & LPT)"
and may be named something like:
"CP2102N USB to UART Bridge Controller"
       "Unknown device"

  4. UPDATE THE DRIVER
     - Right-click the device with the yellow triangle
     - Select "Update driver"
     - Select "Browse my computer for drivers"

  5. BROWSE TO THIS FOLDER
     - Click "Browse..." and navigate to the folder where
you extracted these files (the folder containing
       this guide)
     - Make sure "Include subfolders" is ticked
     - Click "Next"

  6. COMPLETE THE INSTALLATION
Windows will install the driver automatically. If you
see a Windows Security prompt asking whether to install
     the driver, click "Install".

  7. VERIFY THE INSTALLATION
Once installed, the device will appear in Device Manager
under "Ports (COM & LPT)" as:

       "Integrel OEG Controller (COMx)"

Note the COM port number (e.g. COM3, COM4) -- you will
need this when connecting from the E-Power 9 software.

  8. RESTART (IF PROMPTED)
A restart is usually not required, but if Windows asks
you to restart your PC, please do so.

  TROUBLESHOOTING
  ---------------

The device still shows a yellow triangle:
     - Ensure you selected "Include subfolders" in step 5
     - Try a different USB port or cable
     - Right-click the device, select "Uninstall device",
unplug and re-plug the USB cable, then repeat from
       step 4

The COM port does not appear in E-Power 9 software:
     - Check Device Manager to confirm the driver installed
and note the COM port number
     - Close and re-open the E-Power 9 software
     - Try a different USB port

  Windows blocks the driver installation:
     - Ensure you are logged in as an Administrator
     - Right-click Device Manager and select
       "Run as administrator"
